The Mission of the CSES DEI Committee is to acknowledge and raise awareness around social injustices and racism that exist within our local community and our nation. We will embrace the perspectives and experiences that exist because of the differences in the racial, ethnic, socio-economic, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical ability, religious diversity and neurodiversity that make up our Carderock Community.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Calendar

Each month the DEI Comittee puts out a calendar for the children highlighting days of significance for different cultures, religions, and groups. Check back for the calendar.

We want to celebrate as many cultures as we can, please fill out the form to submit a tradition you would like to share with the community.

Note: we want to honor traditions correctly, if you submit an idea, we might need your guidance to do so.
